The God who dwelt among us

        So there it was in God’s plan:
        There was the one – the logos
        Who was an embodiment of the Almighty Himself.

    So God lived among us.
    Once, he came in contact with the material world,
    Walked the roads of the earth
    And lived the life of a being…a man
    A creature, not that of the Creator.

        When God came to earth did he left his throne in Heaven?
        And relinquished his Godliness
        When He took a human body
        And born of a virgin Mary;
        Humbled himself and served man
        Washed the dirty feet of his disciples,
        Met the same fate of his old prophets
        That man was maligned, then falsely accused
        Falsely condemned and finally executed.
        It’s unimaginable how man
        Beat his own creator to death –
        Even death on a cross.

    Yes, legends can be put aside,
    But the in life of the incarnated God must be realized
    His worship; the brotherhood of man;
    The law of worship and self-sacrifice
    And doing to others as you would they should do to you.

        I can’t think of another humble god who would chose to become man
        Those thoughts I kept hidden at the back of my mind
        Yet, I believe that man, as man, maybe far from God,
        But man as God and acting Godly maybe close to the Divine.
